Real Estate and Construction Law

What started back in the late 1980's collecting debts for suppliers to construction projects, Mr. Lobb has literally written the book about materialman and mechanic's liens. His published works and presentations include:

Mechanic's Lien Law and Strategies in Texas, National Business Institute, February 2003
Texas Residential Construction Commission Act, Bay Area Bar Association, January 2005.

Gaining experience representing Weekley Homes and Pulte Homes in the early 90's strengthened Mr. Lobb's knowledge of the building industry. From the bottom (foundation) to the top (roof), Mr. Lobb knows what's going on in the building process.

The lawyers at Murray & Lobb focus on getting results for their clients in construction related issues. From construction collections through lien and bond claims, to defending complex construction defect issue, the lawyers at Murray & Lobb will competently and expeditiously handle the matter in either court or in arbitration.

We are familiar with the standard AIA contracts and the GHBA contracts. Whether it is commercial, public or residential, we can handle the case. We understand the Texas lien laws, relating to both commercial and residential construction. We are experienced with the proceedings before the Texas Residential Construction Commission and the State Sponsored Inspection and Dispute Resolution Process. We routinely file and defend bond claims under the Texas Government Code.
